הַלְלוּ אֶת־יְהוָה כָּל־גּוֹיִם שַׁבְּחוּהוּ כָּל־הָאֻמִּים׃
O praise the LORD, all ye nations; Laud Him, all ye peoples.

כִּי גָבַר עָלֵינוּ חַסְדּוֹ וֶאֱמֶת־יְהוָה לְעוֹלָם הַלְלוּ־יָהּ׃
For His mercy is great toward us; And the truth of the LORD endureth for ever. Hallelujah.

<b>For His kindness has overwhelmed us</b> That is to say: and surely we [must praise Him], for His kindness has overwhelmed us.<br><br><b>and the truth of the Lord is eternal</b> For He kept His promise that He promised the Patriarchs.
